Acrodea Delivers YAPPA Effects Engine to
NTT DoCoMo SH906i, SH906iTV Model Handsets
Providing UI Effects with Screen Transitions

June 3, 2008 (Tokyo, Japan)—Acrodea, Inc. (CEO and President: Junya Tsutsumi), headquartered in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, and YAPPA Corporation (CEO and President: Masahiro Ito), headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo have announced the inclusion of YAPPA’s SpinUI Effects Engine as a new function in Acrodea’s VIVID UI deployed on NTT DoCoMo’s handset models SH906i and SH906iTV (by Sharp).

By integrating SpinUI, an engine specialized in enabling dynamic effects to VIVID UI, Acrodea can now deliver dynamic UI visual effects, along with a vastly improved, innovative UI environment allowing for intuitive access to information and functions linking to input devices such as touch pads.

Going forward, Acrodea and YAPPA will continue to develop UI technologies that will enable stress-free access to services and easier operation of functionality.
