NTT DOCOMO: FOMA Phones
YAPPA’s SpinPlus library is part of NTT DOCOMO’s newly updated platform for both MOAPS and MOAPL devices. The library is currently installed in their summer lineup (shipping this June) but will be standard across the entire lineup in their winter lineup. The library utilizes OpenGLES1.1 and recently installed touch panels to create a unique user experience.

WILLCOM
YAPPA has a strong partnership with Willcom, Japan’s leading PHS and smartphone carrier. YAPPA has designed and implemented many UIs for their Windows Mobile smartphones since 2008. YAPPA is also working with Willcom to jointly build a UI platform for Windows Mobile devices, which will be offered in future models.

Zeebo
Zeebo, a Brazillian home entertainment company introduced the Zeebo 3G Game console which allows users to download games over a 3G network without a prepaid subscription. The Zeebo system provides an affordable 3D game console for emerging global markets and has been marketed and distributed by TecToy S.A., a leading video game and consumer electronics maker in Sao Paulo.

YAPPA provided the entire user interface concept, design and technology implementation for this product. The console also uses a customized version of SpinUI and SpinPlus with exclusive effects made for Zeebo. The user interface combines 3D and 2D graphics seamlessly on a MSM7201 chipset and iswritten in Brew.

Qualcomm
YAPPA has partnered with Qualcomm to deliver SpinUI to BrewMP developers. The relationship aims to expand Qualcomm’s BREW Mobile Platform developer ecosystem by providing additional features and capabilities for developers searching to build rich, intuitive and exciting user interfaces and applications for end users.
The true value this partnership brings to developers is in the seamless integration of SpinUI into the BMP operating system. As a Brew extension, the library is easy to integrate into native applications and can be used throughout a device.
Additional tools and software support is available to developers directly from YAPPA.
